Colin is one of the most positive, humble and hard-working people in the UK punk community. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of underground music and a true passion for all things DIY.
Sarah spoke to him at the beginning of December 2020, so we inevitably discussed the impact of the pandemic on live music, while also reminiscing about our favourite gigs. We also had an in-depth conversation about our different experiences of sobriety at gigs, as well as our take on the DIY community from the perspective of two bloggers and broadcasters.
Colin also recommended and played select tracks from Boss’ Daughter, Free Dogs and Fine & Great.

Thank you to everyone who attended Do It Together Fest. In collaboration with Paul Smith (Be Sharp Promotions) and Colin Clark (Colin’s Punk Rock World), we’d hoped to put together an event that celebrated the punk rock community, and what we achieved exceeded my expectations completed.
Firstly I’d like to announce that we raised a grand total of £880.72 for Mind! Thank you to everyone who donated, played our punk rock tombola or scoffed OGGS kindly donated cakes. Thanks also to every single person who attended, all the bands who played and everyone who lent a hand: you could truly feel the power of our community over the weekend, and every single person was a part of that. This new weekend event will celebrate the unique DIY music community that’s brought us all together, with live music, a record fair and a print zine especially for the event. We’ll be bringing our favourite artists from the UK and further afield for a friendly, welcoming party, while also fundraising for Mind.
Hosted at New Cross Inn, South East London’s premiere punk venue, we hope that Do It Together Fest will build on the success of 2019’s Shout Louder Fest. It’s a birthday party for all three Aquarian hosts, and it’s an opportunity to get friends from all walks of life in the same place.
