Anti-folk hero Tim Loud is releasing a brand new single Things That Matter along with unique BeeBombs and artwork on November 22nd. As big fans of Tim Loud’s impressive back catalogue, we’re proud to premiere it here on Shout Louder.
Things That Matter explores how each of us have our own personal struggles, within the direction life takes us. It concludes that if we were all a little more understanding of this then, it might promote more empathy and unity.
Tim has excelled himself with this new track. We implore you to check out the Bee Bombs available with the release: a selection of 18 UK wildflowers in an a sustainable easy-to-use bomb. Of all the unusual merchandising efforts we’ve seen recently, this is our favourite.
Things That Matter is available via TNSrecords on 22nd Nov. The track sees a departure from Tim’s usual fast-paced, irreverent musical oeuvre and tackles some more serious issues to a stripped back acoustic arrangement.
The single was recorded, mixed and mastered by longtime producer Kurt Wood at Cornerhouse Recording Studios, Keighley. The accompanying video was directed by Celina Baluch who also wrote and directed the video to 2018’s Salvation.
